Ardent Legal (Advocates & Solicitors), in collaboration with Spaklin, proudly hosted the India Legal Hackathon for the second time in the National Capital Region of India on February 21–22, 2019. The event was organized as part of the Global Legal Hackathon, the largest legal hackathon in history, which brought together the legal industry, technology, and innovation communities across cities and countries worldwide. The initiative was driven by a shared purpose: the rapid development of solutions aimed at improving the legal industry on a global scale.

The inaugural Global Legal Hackathon was launched in February 2018 and quickly grew into one of the largest legal innovation initiatives worldwide. In 2018, organizations from over 40 cities in 22 countries across six continents hosted the first edition of the Global Legal Hackathon, engaging more than 5,000 participants. Major law firms and software companies actively participated in the initiative. Fourteen teams advanced to the #GLH2018 Finals in New York City, where four teams were awarded major prizes and received global recognition for their innovative solutions developed for the legal industry.
